( 2 + 3 + 4 )= 9

2/9*180 =40

3/9*180=60
4/9*180=80

180g and 9 parts...take 180g / 9. Then take that factor (20) and multiply by each part of the ratio 2:3:4. you end up with 20 x 2 = 40g, 20 x 3 = 60g, and 20 x 4 = 80g
